Life According to Karim

August 12, 2005

Hello Earth!

Filed under: Uncategorized - Karim @ 5:11 am

I am Karim Ramy, Son of Ramy Karam and Nadine Makram Born on the 9th day of August, 2005 at 3:30 in the Morning

My weight at birth was 3.3 Kg (7 pounds 5 ounces) My height at birth was 50.5 cm (19.88 inches)

I was circumcized on August, 10.. It was such a painful experience. Does it really matter? My dad thinks it’s a good exposure to pain, to get used to it… He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He always loves to philosophize things, but he can’t stand an intramuscular injection! Poor dad.. He thinks he can hide his inner thoughts from me, while–so unprofessionally–changing my diapers, and just tell me the silly: “Zouzou Zouzou.. Koukou Koukou..” I’m forced to talk like them.. bbbbb mmmm wwwaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaawawawwaaaaaaa

So far, I eat more than 10 times a day.. What else can I do in this terrestrial mode of life?

My dad seems to be a bit crazy. He keeps taking photos of me. I hate it when he-so selfishly-bothers my eyes with this blinding lightning to keep some silly copies of true moments. I’ll just let him enjoy it while he can. He will soon get bored and ignore me to fulfill what he thinks is more important. What can I do. I’ll spend my time with mom. She’s more useful and nourishing.

  1. Hi Karim

Welcome to planet Earth. You will soon grow up and be like one of us
    (but
hopefully a bit smarter). When you go to high school, they will teach
    you in
history courses that primitive people used Laptops and other clumsy
    machines
to calculate, write, or communicate. These machines were so bulky they
    had
to be placed in brief cases. They will also tell you that those same
primitive people used vehicles that had to be filled with a stinky
    fuel,
unlike the solar-powered flying machine that you would use to go to
    school.
Meanwhile, I hope you are enjoying this hot summer and please come to
    visit
us up North when you have time.

    Cheers,
    Maged (your dad’s uncle)

  5. Welcome to the external noisy world. You’ll soon get used to it. I was there with your Mum counting the minutes between contractions, she kept on smiling. Hope you grow up to be always smiling like your Mum. Please don’t inherit any thing from your Dad, just kidding you already look like him.
